Hello All! First let me say I'm sorry I suck at keeping up with my web site and blog. Lots of art has been happening, wrapping up 2017 and gearing up with 2018. Here's what's next for me, my friends and I are doing a store signing for our new Halloween Anthology 10/31 this Saturday at Chimera Comics in La Grange IL. Come on by and snag a copy then curl up at home for a fun read. Sorry for making this a quick post, click on the link above to find out more.
Wizard World 2017 was a blast form beginning to end. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to purchase my work, stopped by to say hi and thank you for all the fantastic compliments you guys are the best!. Please if you have any questions feel free to email me in the contact section of this site. I'll definitely be back next year.
My next con will be in Joliet for the Galaxy comic book and fantasy art expo Sept. 23. 2017
Please enjoy the Wizard World pics I was able snap over the weekend.
Thank You again and take care.
Super excited for WW 2017. Finally received my assigned seat, C10 Artist Alley. Last year was a blast, lots of great energy, packed to the gills with fans, the young, the old, the drunk. Super busy, it was non-stop AKSHUN! I also split a corner table with a buddy of mine, this year I have the corner table all to myself debuting several new prints, and of course selling the favorites of the past. Can't wait to rock this show!! Hope to see y'all there.
Man O man, First let me say thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hi, who were curious about my art and of course purchased my art.
I also want to give a big THANK YOU! to my man Jin Kim for asking me to go halves with him on the table, I would not have been there this year if it weren't for him.
What a fantastic time! this place was jammed packed with people. Loved meeting up with new and old friends, Loved talking to new people and loved making people happy when they saw I had something they wanted. The money is great but it really is humbling and rewarding when people react in a positive way to my work and a connection is made.
The build up leading to C2E2 was energetic, the show was amazing, the art and creators, the panels, the fans, the cosplayers, the merchandise, OH MY! but when it's over it's over. It's a mixture of emotions. I'm glad it's over, I'm gunna miss it, I missed out on so much of what the show floor had to offer. In the end I was totally exhausted, Thank God I'm off tomorrow. If the C2E2 gods will it I'll be here again next year 2018.
Thank you C2E2 and Thank You All Again - GOMEZ
Also if you curious about my buddy Jin Kim's art you can check him out here.
My first time at C2E2 behind the table. I'll be splitting a table with my pal Jin Yung Kim. I'm so looking forward to this hope to see you there!

Here's the process, it's all digital, photoshop an hour here, an hour there during lunch.
This is set up to be a print and a poster.
For the love of Wolverine: I always had comics growing up.
Spiderman, Batman, Superman I definitely was a nerd for superheroes going back to The funky Marvel cartoons, Super Friends, Adam West and Christopher Reeve. But I don't think I really fell in love with comics until I saw Classic X-Men #1 in the magazine section of our local Jewel grocery store. The cover had my eyeballs on lock down, it was unlike anything I had ever seen before, It's the first time I really took note of an artist in comic. This comic became my child, my bible, I took this thing everywhere along with my pencils, markers and paper. I would try to recreate the cover particularly the Wolverine. His pose was so dynamic to me I would study every stroke of every line, I was "SNIKT" I still own this comic, and for only One dollar this comic literally changed my life.
All that said, with this image I drew and painted (digitally) I wanted to add my own awesome iconic, classic Wolverine to the mix of images that fueled my fire for the art of comics that's what the other covers and artist below did for me.
If a kid ever asks you to buy him or her a comic, BUY IT!
Thanks for taking the time, GOMEZ.
Hi All! Sorry I'm late with this post I just figured out how to post to my Weebly blog from my iPad Pro so I should be posting on a regular bases now. So! MC was a decent show had a great time with the folks. This was my first time setting up with 2 -8 foot tables and what a cool looking set up it was if I do say so myself. I also had a couple smaller shows that happened the beginning of December that wrapped up my year of shows. I'll start back up again next year in March with Conival which should be interesting. Any hoot I'll catch y'all later, Peace!
AWW MAN!! This was such an awesome event. It was Berwyn's 1st Geektastic pop culture event! (a bit too small to call it a con just yet;)) and it was a great time. The crowd was flowing consistently the whole time, a really good vibe in the air, it was just a perfect day for this event. Thanks to all who purchased my work and to all who purchased in general. Thanks to Fandemonium crew for making the event happen and special thanks to the Outta Space venue for hosting this event. I will see y'all soon! Thank You!!

Outta Space Venue on FaceBook: Always something cool happening here.
Hey all! I this event happened a while ago I just forgot to post about it. This was a cool setup for a con. It was in a museum out in Joliet. It was 3 floors of greatness, the only downfall here was attendance was low and that was due to the Speedway Race Track. There was a huge event happening there this particular weekend so everyone was there. This was my first time with 2 tables, I was pimp'n!
